DEBATING GIVE-IT-A-GO

The debating event was very popular. We had experienced debaters giving mini seminars on how to debate and then there were a series of 2 impromptu debates. The aim of this event was to provide youth with public speaking skills, allow people to feel comfortable giving debating a go in a welcoming environment and to have fun! We provided silly props so that people could feel more comfortable speaking in front of their peers and adjudicator.
